Want to support the Rose O'Neill Foundation and put your chubby imps up for sale with the brand?
You unfortunately cannot use the "KEWPIE™" name as it is trademarked and legally belongs to the Kewpie™ Corporation who requires you to not only use their art, which has been drastically changed from the originals, but more than likely you will be turned down plus pay high licensing fees.
Due to this we have secured the name KEWPS® which is in the process of being Trademarked as you read. This is a name with our licensing that you can use for selling your Kewpie's products and be found in search tags and on line. It covers all of the Kewps® products we sell for clipart and Procreate packs as well as the possibility of your OWN designs, you can submit your own designs for consideration with your application. Without a KEWPS® license you will not be able to use our name for tags, search engines, descriptions or body text and reference, you also cannot use the Kewpie™ name and will have to look for another way to tag or label your items.
What happens next:
•You make the purchase of your first license for 1 year now. Which is $100
•Download and fill out the PDF application
•Submit it for consideration with your ideas and samples
•You will be reviewed for a license (Not everyone will receive a license)
•If you are chosen; Your product will be monitored for 1 year quarterly for Trademark compliance. All products you wish to use the name on MUST 1. be a Kewpies type character and 2. Follow our license guidelines 3. If after a year, all has went well you will be able to re-apply with a yearly license, or choose a 3-5 year renewal license that comes with deeper discounts. Proceeds from the license goes to help the Rose O'Neill foundation.
•3-5 year Licences. 3 Years Re-new License $ 150 and 5 Years $250
•Should you not be selected by KEWPS® for a license your original $100 paid for your application review will be refunded. However once your application has been approved there will be no refunds for license fees.
