What is considered One Commercial Project?
A Project is defined as a complete and cohesive undertaking that may result in one or more End Products. Any End Products included in the one Project must be directly related under a single concept. Should you wish to use the graphics in multiple projects, you can either purchase a new Standard License per Project, which is the same cost as original package purchased, or an Extended License for unlimited Projects. Fonts and papers may be used in an unlimited amount of Projects. Examples of One Project with many End Products:
- Stationery suite = One Project with many End Products, e.g. an invitation, save-the- date note, “thank you” card, table numbers
- Quote art design = One design only, applied to many End Products like cushions, posters, etc
- Company branding = One Project with many End Products like business cards, social media banners, website branding
- EXAMPLE OF NEEDING TWO standard Licenses: Invitation design + Wall art = two unrelated Projects, therefore two Standard Licenses required
Can I use your your Paper & Pattern designs to make AS IS end products or Web Site Backgrounds?
Yes and No. Yes if it is for personal use and used on a home printer ; for instance printing 12X12 Cardstock. Yes for a website background as long as the image is embedded into the code and cannot be taken by right clicking on it. No if you wish to use it for selling as is on end products. Papers must be incorporated into a new design. Note: Anyone wishing to Use Paper Patterns as a stand alone pattern must purchase an individual Pattern License. Only Patterns sold under a pattern license may be used as is.
How much does a pattern license cost?
The Elevated Pattern License is $85 per pattern. The standard License is good for one physical end product. Example: Spoonflower fabric. You wish to make several yards of this pattern for a fabric. You may make up to 250,000 Yards. Or you wish to make 250,000 Pillows with this pattern. This would then conclude your License. After making 1 end product of any 250,000 units will conclude your license. This license does not allow for making digital products using these patterns.
Is there a difference between a standard graphic license and a pattern license?
Yes. Resources purchased under the Graphics License may not be used on their own. This includes the patterns that form part of some of the graphic products. Conversely patterns purchased under the Elevated Pattern License may be used on their own in a stand alone manner. Please see other Elevated Pattern license questions for further clarity.
Why is the Elevated Pattern License more expensive than the Graphics standard license?
Unlike the patterns sold under the Graphic Licence that may not be used as is, patterns sold under the Elevated Pattern License may be used in a stand-alone capacity. This means you can use the patterns as the main integrity of your end product. For example, you can use the pattern as is to print bolt fabric, wall paper, or gift wrap. (Please note, end products may only be physical in nature, no digital products are permitted under this license.)
The price point of the Pattern License is in line with industry standard for royalty-free patterns of this nature. should you have any questions regarding this license, please feel free to contact me.

Do your licenses allow for more than one user?
No. All of my licenses are single user licenses only – meaning only one person can install them and use them. If you require a license for a team, please contact me and I’ll set that up for you – I simply charge the product price times the amount of licenses you need.
What is a single user license?
A single user license means that only the person who has purchased the product is licensed to use the Resources contained within the product. You are allowed to use these resources across 3 active devices as part of your license.
Can I sell printables as digital files for my small business?
No. Printables may not be sold as a digital files, nor part of any digital file packs, or as scrap or part of a package. Printables must not be altered, and must be used as is on a physical object. The physical object you sell must have the printable adhered in some way, or sold as a physical print, and the standard license per piece applies. If you wish to sell the individual printable pieces as stickers, you may do so IF the printable was designed to be a sticker set, and you print them yourself. To professionally print them, you will have to buy an additional seat (another license/product) for the printer. All other graphics follow The standard license which applies.
What type of license comes with my Procreate purchase?
Anything you create using my Procreate brushes and Palettes are yours 100% to sell however you wish. What you cannot do: Create your own brushes from mine by tweaking them and reselling them. You cannot share the Procreate palettes, brushes, shapes, patterns, or stamps. See a full break down of the Procreate License.
Can I get a refund for digital items I download?
Sorry no. Due to the nature of digital files we are unable to refund something you actually have downloaded. It is impossible to return it.
I know that Vintage and Antique images are in the public domain. Can I use your Vintage/Antique images freely?
All images Vintage/Antique or otherwise on this site are handled the same way. With a standard license, even if you got it from me for free. Due to the Vintage/Antique images having gone through transformation of being cleaned, re colored, scanned and fixed makes them exclusive to us.

COPYRIGHT LAWS & PUBLIC DOMAIN
*We will never intentionally post an image that is not in the public domain or that we have been given permission or license to use. Most images before 1923 are within the Public domain however exclusions may apply for other countries. If you feel I have posted something that is infringing upon someones copyright it is certainly unintentional and even though we research the images to the best of our capabilities it is possible to have missed something. If this is the case contact us immediately and we will remove the image. In which case we say use these images at your own risk. It is important to know know that just because an image is out there on the Internet where it can be easily copied doesn’t mean that it is in the “public domain. With that being said I ask you to use your own judgement in deciding if you wish to use the images but do know we try to remove the concerns by posting an image we have researched to the best of our capabilities.

*An Explanation of 1923 And Public Domain
Note: This is directly quoted from Peter B. Hirtle, Senior Policy Advisor, Cornell University Library . In January of each year, we (Copyright offices) release a new version of the copyright chart. The biggest change concerns the death date of authors of unpublished copyrighted works. In January of 2012, for example, the copyright in unpublished works written by authors who died in 1941 entered the public domain. That means any unpublished works by James Joyce, Virginia Woolf, and Louis Brandeis all rose into the U.S. public domain, since all died in 1941. But the date separating copyrighted and public domain published works never seems to be updated: it remains 1923. Works published before 1923 are, by and large, in the public domain (but see below); works published in 1923 and later may continue to be protected by copyright. Why doesn’t this date change?
The cause of the delay is the Sonny Bono Copyright Term Extension Act. Prior to 1998, copyright in published works could last at most 75 years. That meant that on Jan. 1 1998, all works published in 1922 entered the public domain. (1922 plus 75 years equals 1997); all copyrights run through the calendar year. In 1998, the Sonny Bono Act extended the term of all existing copyrights by 20 years. Works already in the public domain (i.e., those published in 1922 and earlier) were unaffected, but those works from 1923 now had a 95-year term. These works will rise into the public domain on Jan. 1 2019 (1923 plus 95 years), and then each year thereafter, another year of published works will be added. This assumes, of course, that Congress does not elect in 2018 to extend once again the length of copyright.
And why, you might ask, did the Copyright Term Extension Act not affect the status of unpublished works? It did, by lengthening copyright terms by 20 years. But as part of the 1976 agreement that provided federal copyright protection to unpublished work, no unpublished work entered the public domain until Jan. 1, 2003, regardless of when its author died. On that date, unpublished works from authors who died before 1933 entered the public domain; without the term extension, it would have been authors who had died before 1953.
Back to Me: This is why we will not typically share anything that has come after 1923 unless we know by all unreasonable doubt that something is in the Public Domain. Again I stress with that being said I ask you to use your own judgement in deciding if you wish to use the images.

~7 Day Money Back Guarantee on The Following:
Why a seven day money back guarantee. We are not a big box corporation. 7 Days starts from DATE of arrival not purchase date and not from delivery time of arrival. Day 1 is arrival date. We are able to see when it arrived so no worries. Reason for 7 days: We are made up of disabled Artists. When you purchase something and return it, it takes time away from the shop where it could have been purchased by another guest and our Artists lose the opportunity to sell it to someone else during this time. Also all payments for product are given to the Artist each Monday which means it now has to be returned out of the artists pocket. This is not typical retail shopping you are buying from individual artists. May we suggest keeping it to give to someone else as a gift. 7 days gives the guest ample opportunity to examine the product make a decision and return it within the 7 day time frame. The departure date must be within the seven day time frame. No refunds will be given beyond the 8th day except on or around holidays or where special consideration was given in advance. This also ensures you are proactive in returning the item in a timely manner so that it may be resold. Thanks for your understanding. |
